A List of Newborn Baby Care

Are you expecting a newborn soon? Well, before shopping for the baby’s needs, you must have a list of new born baby care items that you need to buy. This will prevent you from overspending or buying the items that are unnecessary.

The first items in your newborn baby care list should be the layettes. These are the essential things for your newborn baby. You must have at least half a dozen undershirts or vest and two to four pieces of receiving blankets. You should have at least one to two pairs of booties and scratch mittens, one to two caps and one to two bibs. Aside from these, you must also buy one to two sweaters, four to six sleepers and one to two body suits. Don’t forget to include in your list of newborn baby care a dozen new born diapers.

Mothers who plan to breastfeed their baby must have two to three nursing bras, two to five pairs of breast pads, two to three bottles for storing milk and a bottle brush. A breast pump is also needed to get milk for storage.

If you are planning to bottle-feed your newborn baby, you must also purchase one half to one dozen baby bottles with 4 fast flow nipples and four slow ones. Have a case of baby formula, a bottle warmer and a sterilizer kit. After purchasing these items, do not add some more. You already have enough. All you need to do now is to sit back and relax and wait for your new baby’s arrival.
